Welcome! My name is Kris. I’m a California-based freelance editor with 12 years’ industry experience in motion design, editing and live action spanning across social and broadcast marketing, localization, live sports, publishing and special-interest content.
I’ve spent the lion’s share of my career in central London, most recently as a Senior Editor & Motion Designer for Gramercy Park Studios in Soho. My peers would say I'm most at home behind a camera, but fast-paced, high-octane edit and motion design is my calling, and I have a particular love for sports and title sequences.
Personalities make me tick. I’m an avid runner. I love city skylines, wildlife, historic pubs, sports and aviation. I have a passion for travel and new cuisine, and a pulse for thrill-seeking. Many fear change, but I welcome it. I wear my heart on my sleeve, and I love to laugh. Glass is always half full.

Having earned a BSc degree in Film Production, I began my professional career with now Premier League soccer club Brighton & Hove Albion. Somewhat of a dream job for a fresh-faced graduate, I spent three seasons helping develop what is now a broadcast quality gallery. By week I was creating video content, from shooting player features to cutting match previews, and by weekend co-piloting our live in-house broadcast.
I spent the following five years of my career as a Senior Editor with Gramercy Park Studios (formerly Hogarth Worldwide) in Soho, London. An entirely post-production role, often on-site and frequently client attended, I worked for a wealth of brands in both creative editing and versioning, for both social and broadcast.
I relocated with my wife to Santa Monica in 2022 and since then have been a full time contractor, working between London and Los Angeles in both live and post production.
